Curious to learn and practice meditation online?
I’ve been lucky enough to teach online since the start of covid in 2020….usually 10-15 classes each week, mostly one-on-one sessions funded by the NDIS with various people struggling with mental health issues. The journey with each person has been fascinating. We are all so unique.
There is something truly transformative about being able to do practice in your own space.
It’s the element of feeling safe and secure, as well as convenience of course…no travel time, no uniform, no cost of venue hire - less obstacles to showing up!
True change in life comes from the new positive things we do consistently.
So….I’m now offering one-on-one sessions by donation. Drop me a message if interested. First session free.
Here’s what we would cover….
· Why we can’t stop or control thinking – it is not possible
· How to train our minds to use a different path, building new neural pathways that will lead away from our current habit energy of thinking and towards a new way
· Playing awareness games and working with intention and attention
· Working with breathwork techniques to help reset nervous system and learn how to activate our body’s natural healing mode
· Learning specific meditation practices from Thich Nhat Hahn, Deepak Chopra, Pema Chodren, Eckhart Tolle, Ayya Khema and more
· Learn-to-teach ancient wisdom such as the laws of karma, the five remembrances, metta (loving kindness)
· Simple seated isometric exercises to help transform posture and activate core muscles to support the body’s structure while meditating
· We build specific skills together that you will learn and remember and take with you wherever you go in life
